Bio
Courtney is a state licensed and ASHA Certified Speech and Language Pathologist with a passion for working collaboratively with children and their families! She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Redlands in Communicative Disorders and went on to receive a Masters of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Oregon. She has worked with children ages birth to 21 years across Oregon and California among private clinic, Early Intervention, School District, Pediatric Skilled Nursing and hospital outpatient rehabilitation settings. Her experience includes working with children with dysphagia, speech sounds disorders, late talkers, receptive and expressive language disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, and many others. Courtney strongly believes in the power of play-based learning and enjoys finding ways to target functional goals within play and daily activities. Her areas of interest include dysphagia/feeding & swallowing disorders, articulation/speech sound disorders, early language development, stuttering and fluency, and school-aged language development.
Courtney opened Little Peas Speech Therapy in February of 2019 with a passion for helping families in her community access the services they need to help their children grow and thrive.
