Little Peas Speech Therapy is looking for an energetic and passionate Pediatric SLP to join our clinic! 

 

Position Overview:

This position is an exciting opportunity to grow as a professional and exercise your clinical skills in a variety of ways. The position is full-time (part time considered). The perfect candidate would have experience in phonological/speech sound disorders, late talking toddlers, social communication disorders, language-based learning disabilities, Autism, oral motor deficits, feeding, and fluency. The right person will have a strong work ethic, be organized, and passionate about working with kids. 

Work responsibilities include:

• Administration and analysis of pediatric speech and language assessments

• Develop, oversee, and implement client’s Plan of Care (POC)

• Review, analyze data, observe program implementation and make necessary changes in client’s POC

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, pediatricians and educational professionals in order to share information and expertise associated with client success

• Collect, maintain and evaluate data on each client’s progress

• Communicate openly and effectively with parents and coworkers  

• Conduct training workshops for families and/or schools

• Complete necessary documentation including SOAP notes, Evaluation Reports, and Progress Notes

 

Required Education/Certification:
- Master’s Degree or PhD in Speech and Language Pathology & Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Oregon state license for Speech-Language Pathology (current and active)

 

Preferred:
Minimum of 2 years of pediatric speech therapy experience

Pediatric Feeding/Dysphagia experience is a plus
